Activities of Daily Living

Care At Home has been helping people with Activities of Daily Living for decades. ADL’s can include bathing and showering, dressing, personal hygiene and grooming, transfers, incontinence care, makeup application, oral hygiene, meal preparation, feeding, fluid intake or restriction, or medication reminders. Assistance With Mobility

Care professionals understand the importance of a client maintaining independence and seeing that they remain physically able to do so. Caregivers help our clients execute on activities that are recommended by a Physician or PT or OT. These recommendations may include: daily walking, exercises, range of motion exercises, tactile activities, transfering to or from bed/chair, or changing positions.

Our caregivers are trained to provide clients with the best support through their daily lives. We offer a wide range of support services such as; laundry, washing, drying and putting away dishes, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen, bedroom and bathroom, running the vacuum, and light dusting. Transportation, Errand Running, and Doctor Visits

It is always nice to have a regular visitor, a comforting smile or a dining companion. Our caregivers enjoy doing whatever you or your loved one would like to do! Some suggested activities include shopping, going to a movie, watching TV, assist with letter writing, assist with holiday preparations, conversation, taking walks, and visiting with family or friends.
